On Thursday, June 28, Livestock Shipping Express emailed me to confirm that I was expecting a delivery from Green Oak Bees on the next day, Friday June 29. I responded saying that I was. Then, at 3pm on Friday June 29 I emailed them to ask for more details - carrier/vehicle/tracking number/expected time of delivery. They told me that the package didn't ship because I needed to pay a $100 insurance fee that would be refunded with delivery. I contacted Green Oak Bees (through Facebook Messenger) to see if that was legitimate. He said he always sends product out with the $100 insurance fee to insure safe handling of the product. I went back to the email and told Livestock Shipping that I had no way to pay this fee. They sent a PayPal link for the payment. I paid the fee through the PayPal link. On Saturday Livestock Shipping emailed to say the payment was not coming to them and I should try a different link for the payment. They sent a 2nd link - and reluctantly, I sent the 2nd payment. Both of these payments were from the same fund source we have linked to PayPal. At this point we started disputing the payments on PayPal to try to insure they only received one insurance fee and to see what was causing them to not receive the funds. I tried 2 more times. One to yet a third address and the 4th to Green Oak Bees to another link they provided. Here are the PayPal transactions linked to the insurance fee.

1. June 30. Yisel Viana Gamez: Transaction # 32S91012B9190363U [email protected]

2. July 1. Maria Garcia Caracmo: Transaction # 5CG15169LH3666139

3. July 2. Hector Canaveral Reyes: Transaction # 0FB11825RP032283V [email protected]

4. July 2. Nicolas Alarkon: Transaction # 4V5337973V916861X [email protected]

On July 3 through July 4 I didn't hear anything from either business about the transaction, money or package.

On July 5 both Green Oak Bees and Livestock Shipping Express contacted me. Livestock Shipping was trying to get other links for us to share with thme for the insurance fee. We did not use any other digital form for the money transaction other than PayPal and "Friends and Family." They tried to have us find other friends or family members to give money. We did not. When I told them this felt like a scam they replied, "we are honest people." On July 6, I received an email stating the package had shipped the day before, on July 5. I asked for details on the delivery and the response was, "they will notify you when they arrive." Today is July 7. There is no package and there is no more contact from the shipper or the seller. We never got any tracking info, description of delivery vehicle, or approximate delivery time. Despite the disputes we made on PayPal and requests to stop payment, the payments were all released to the various addresses listed above.
