They contacted me online on the WhatsApp app about a job to make money rating apps. At first it was fine for the first four or five days, but then all of a sudden they wanted me to deposit larger sums of money and said I could not withdraw the money I had unless I kept giving them more and more money. I had already put $1000 in, but they told me in order to continue they wanted another $2700. I told them I can’t come up with it and they said I had to come up with it within 24 hours to 48 hours otherwise I could not continue and I said to them how is this a job if I’m not making money I’m paying money to them. Then they gave me a supposed salary of $680 but they wouldn’t let me withdraw it so I looked up the phone numbers afterwards because I started to think this was a scam. They made me join a group chat and when I started looking up all of their phone numbers of the 27 members, they all came up with an area code starting in 300 and when I looked it up on Google. It said it was a scam a scam alert, a cryptocurrency, scam, alert, etc. so I definitely believed I was scammed out of $1000. It was supposed to be a job where I received funds, but instead they wanted me to deposit funds into tricking me into depositing more and more that it was gonna be multiplied, but they just kept getting me to deposit the money and then once I got to a point where I couldn’t deposit anymore. That’s when they said sorry You got 48 hours to deposit more money otherwise you lose Out.
