LJSTLLC POP-UP SCAM
said I won a free Battery Jump Box, just pay $9.99 S&H charge. There was no additional information mentioning any charges or policies. No contact info of a "store", in fact no store was mentioned at all. A couple of weeks later, they put through a charge of $109.88. Haven't received the jump box or received any mail from this "company".
I disputed this charge with my credit card company. They looked into it and was told by the "merchant" that I hadn't cancelled the "Purchase" (?). The actual line on my letter from Capital 1 : Confirmation showing no cancellation per policy was received
What policy? How do you cancel something you aren't informed about?
But more importantly, how did Capital 1 reach this scammer and why won't they let me know how to find them so I can send the police after them? I don't know what state they are in, but they are obviously scamming a huge amount of people.
Does anyone know if there is an open investigation on LJSTLLC? If not, how do we start one?
