Loan For Amazon LFA LTD Reports & Reviews (1)

- Hayward, CA, USA

I was seeking new job employment when I applied for a position on the job site called Indeed. There was a remote/home position as a 'Data Analyst' for the company 'Managed Staffing' that I felt I was qualified for and I submitted for it. Shortly afterwards, I was contacted by who I thought was Managed Staffing. Apparently - and after doing a little research on the company - Managed Staffing is just the recruiter for other employers. In their message, they said the actual job employer from the company LFA LTD or Loan for Amazon was interested in interviewing me and forwarded me the recruiter's email address from LFA.

After emailing him twice, that recruiter from LFA - Charles Benson - took four days to get back to me. When he did, he sent me an email glossing over the job description and called me the next day doing the much the same. Strangely, he called me from a Los Angeles number when, really, the company is supposedly headquartered in the United Kingdom... But I still spoke with him and for, perhaps, all of 2-3 minutes. I still didn't understand the job but, figured, I would once I received more info on the training itself which he assured me he would forward after I signed the job contract.

That next day, Saturday, Charles sent me an email with instructions to submit a copy of my driver's license, the employment contract and W-4 signed along with my account info for the direct deposit of payments.

I was feeling uncomfortable sending such personal info to someone I hadn't even met in person yet and honestly, the way he requested my account info for direct deposit was strange. Most companies give you a choice for direct deposit or mailed payment checks. But, after asking, he said direct deposit was the only way. Also, most companies seem to have a more confidential online portal for something like a direct deposit - rather than sending it through an open Google doc that anyone in the world can have access to so long as it was shared.

To check for legitimacy, I asked Charles for a business or company identification number and he forwarded this site address https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10842690. But still, I just wasn't convinced. I even went to his company's website and it was very basic with minimal information...I also tried to google the name Loan For Amazon - but nothing popped up. It was almost as if it was unheard of.

Charles has been hard to reach and slow to respond to my calls and emails. The last time I called him, he ignored it and has yet to call me back. After reaching out to Managed Staffing which - is actually a LEGIT company - they confirmed that this was a SCAM. I have the email verifying that a representative there says LFA is a scam and that those messages from Indeed posing as the company were not from Managed Staffing. They've apparently heard of this same situation and are looking into it.

I thankfully, never sent any personal info to Charles or to LFA for fear of fraudulent purposes. But, I fear he will definitely find someone less concerned to scam. I reach out to you to please help stop the scam of this person and company. Or perhaps, to find another system that can help stop him.

Thank you.
