Looked up local locksmith for house lockout. Google Maps was the search engine used. A company named KeyExpress Locksmith appeared to be local. 1-800 number routed to local number and operator answered for service call. No quote was offered over the phone and technician arrived without a license. Took a mold of my key and charged me $511 as ransom of mold until paid. I call into the operator number again to confirm price and operator said price was whatever the technician wanted to charge me. Technician wanted cash payment or zell/venmo. I refused and requested payment by credit card to record the transaction.
