Liz was looking to buy a new puppy Chihuahua and searched a website and was liaising with the seller who said they were in Darwin, no address was on the website, the seller would not disclose their address, no their phone number and arranged payment to CBA. When she was ready to make a deposit and was advised to wait until she could make the full transaction, she was provided an account number via email and went to IDM once she had the money and made the deposit at Innaloo IDM 616101 at 5.02pm 11/12/2018 with description Brit Paid, once the payment was made, contact was made by Liz to the seller and was advised to send a picture of her IDM receipt. she asked when and where the puppy Chihuahua was arriving from, as the seller said they are in Darwin. She was advised to wait for the delivery company to contact her with the tracking number and delivery details. The seller then emailed to ask for her delivery address again which is different to their agreement, when they had agreed to collect the puppy from the airport. the seller them emailed saying if she wanted the puppy on 14/12/18 they will email her when the delivery registration happens, and that the seller will take the puppy to the delivery company. Liz then questioned the seller's authenticity several times as they are blaze in emails. (she has also kept a full transcript of all emails) her last email was this morning stating the seller will now proceed with everything and let her know how it goes. The Seller's English was not brilliant but English may be a second language given the name. The seller also said they had 'coupons' to transport the dog when Liz asked with which carrier the pup was travelling through. The seller was not forthcoming with their name when Liz would question their details, and the seller would continually reassure Liz it is not a scam. Her final email less than an hour ago was to threaten to go to a fraud department to say this transaction is a scam, she is yet to get a response.
