Locksmith Directory (http://local.locksmithdirectory.com) is a dispatcher for technicians to provide locksmith services. The dispatcher quoted a service charge of $29 "plus 'labor' fees" -which were to be provided to me by the tech upon arrival - prior to the service being performed. The service needed was a vehicle lockout, as they keys to the vehicle were inadvertently locked inside the car. Once the tech arrived, he immediately proceeded to open my locked vehicle without providing any quote and without my verbal confirmation to continue. The service took about 3 minutes to complete, and I was charged $192.

After the service completion, I received a call from the dispatcher service to follow up as a coutesy call. When I explained that I was not pleased with the price for the service (which the company refused to provide during my initially inquiry), the dispatcher simply asked how much I was charged. I replied with the amount, and then the dispatcher promptly got off the phone.
