I own an online women's store. I wanted to re-launch my website so I did some research on web development companies around 12/22/2021. I came across Logo Symmetry, and spoke to a customer service representative. They ensured that I would receive a high-quality website by January 15, 2022. It is now 2/1/2022, and I still do not have my website. The project manager, ***** ******, was so rude at times. I would ask him a question, and he would get smart. We also initially agreed on the company building a website on my BigCommerce account. I did not find out until yesterday, 1/31/22, that they were building it on WordPress. So, I had to purchase a separate hosting from GoDaddy, and other expenses. Then, I get my products from a boutique in *****. My customers place their order on our website, and then we place their order on the ***** website. They then ship the orders to our customer. ***** recommended that I purchase their drop shipping integration. I was promised that our customers could just place the order on our site, and we would not have to place the order for them. I was also promised a payment integration, and other things. Although they kept sending me test sites, I never received my actual website. The last straw was yesterday when I had to purchase hosting from GoDaddy since they built my site on WordPress. As mentioned before, we initially agreed on them building my website on BigCommerce. I was so frustrated with ***** that I contacted the company's customer service. I spoke to two separate people who assured me that they would get a manager to speak with me. Of course, a manager never called me back. ***** called me instead, and I could tell that he felt some type of way about that. When I purchased the hosting, I expected that we would go live soon (especially since ***** reassured me that this was the last step). I informed him about the purchase, and he said great. I did not hear from him until the next day when I asked if he needed anything else from me. He said no, and then he got rude. Basically, he said that he didn't appreciate me calling the company and complaining about him. I have included that email as an attachment for your review. Overall, I feel as if I have been scammed. Even when I asked for a refund, I was told no. I was reassured that my money was already used. However, I have yet to go live with my website. I just want to prevent another person from going through this.
