I did the first project which should give me 3.800$, after doing the jo. they charged me 300$ for fees, which i didn’t payed. always difficult to detect a scam, but i didn’t send them the money. now he’s arguing with me to send him the money. My contact person was Kyle Neal.

I was hired through Upwork by a company, "Lorem Ipsum Limited Jobs," by a James Wilson to do some freelance typing work. I was hired to type 185 images into Microsoft Word for a compensation of $7,030, $38 per page. I was hired on a Thursday night with a six-day deadline. I completed the work by Sunday morning and they proceeded to tell me that I needed to send them $300 to link my PayPal account to receive my payment. After I sent this, they proceeded to tell me I needed to pay the IRS fees upfront and that they wouldn't take them out of my payment, or they would turn me in to be arrested for illegal activity. The IRS fee was $800 because they increased my pay to a total of $11,630 because of the payment issues. I paid this $800 via PayPal after I was assured by CEO, Kyle Wilson, that the payment would be in my account within the next 12 hours. After there was no payment, he sent me an incorrect screenshot from PayPal stating that there was an issue with my payment and that the claim needed more details before the 6th of November. It is the 15th of November. Knowing now with all of this information together, I knew I wasn't getting paid. Then they proceeded to ask me for my bank account information which I wouldn't give them. The CEO proceeded to tell me that I was the problem with the payment and is refusing to refund these "fees" that I paid. I have screenshots and emails from them that I can send to you for reference of their "logo" and there supposed employee ID. They have several open applications on Upwork. I have reported them there as well. I would like to stop this from happening to anyone else.
