Caller asked for the man/woman of the household. When said this is she, he, who had a strong southern accent, stated he was calling from Dept of Los Angeles police department calling to ask for donations for offers and their families and asked if I would I like to help. I asked what kind of donation. He said gold package is $50, silver package is $35 and bronze package is $20. And can he count on me to contribute and I said "yes". I told him to mail the letter better and he asked me to hold on while he transfers me to billing department. I hung up.
