I recently lost my cat and had used a couple lost pet websites to post. I received a text from someone that said they had found my cat. The sentence structure and grammar was pretty bad so I knew that it was probably a scam attempt. They wanted me to send them my 6 digit google verification code. I did not. They would not answer the phone with my attempted calls to them, they would only text back that I must provide them with my verification code via text. I blocked the number.
