I was called and told that they received my info from a drawing I would've participated in over the last couple of years, no specific day or place was given and they said it could've been a long time ago. They said that I won one of three prizes including a tv, $5,000, or a 3day/2 night stay somewhere. They assured me this isn't related to a timeshare and there's no obligation to buy anything. I would need to go to the Hilton Garden where they're doing the prize presentation this weekend. It would take approximately 90min start-to-finish to check-in, get my scratcher to determine which item I won, take pictures, etc. They said Preview Center is doing to bring awareness to the products/services they represent. I would only be eligible if I was in the age range and making at least $60,000 even though there was no obligation to buy anything. Below is the email I received that I would have to bring with me to check-in.

I received a messenger from Julie Leach almost identical to the ScamPulse.com reported scam that I read on the ScamPulse.com website regarding Julie Leach Powerball winner reaching out to me through the Facebook messenger app offering me her Powerball winnings if I follow the steps laid out. I was lucky enough to find this ScamPulse.com review and did not move forward with believing this scam. I am in California. A different state than the person who was scammed and filed a complaint with the ScamPulse.com and from the so-called scammer.

Julie Leach the Michigan Powerball winner is giving away $50,000 and asked where to send the winning. She texted a link to reach her FedEx guy Herman Tice to discuss details of sending the money. Herman used [email protected] to make contact thru Messenger. Gave me =FedEx tacking#, Ref#, Batch#, Ticket# and Serial#.and my winning will be delivered within 24 hrs and to activate the winning ASAP. I need to active Documentation and stamped Clearance fees which is $500 so they can bring my money after I make the payment. I told him just deduct it from my winnings but said that is against the rule and regulations and insisted that I pay upfront $500 before it's moved out there and get stamped. I refused to payt him $500 and told him he is trying to s and sent testimonials of those who reeived the money after paying upfront feescam me. Quoted Biblical verses that they are not stealing. Checked Better Business Bureau website if there reports about the Julie Leach Scam. I told him I saw the report, I've seen the videos of the scam.

The scammer sent me a text message saying that it was the lottery winners from Wisconsin. I received this text, Gary Krigbaum is a person that did win the first million in 2023. Everything else in the text is a scam. There is a second phone number within the scammers text.

Congratulations! I’m GARY KRIGBAUM the Powerball’s First Millionaire of 2023

From North Carolina, I’m donating the sum of $300.000 dollars to 10 random individuals. If you get this message, then your number was selected among the lucky Winner’s Send text messages to the Manager in charge Mr MICHAEL SCOTT on his cell Number (929) 630-4866 TEXT this winning code (FT65/TXH) with your FUll NAME to him or email [email protected] for the confirmation and the delivery of your package. NOTE:

DON’T REPLY BACK HERE, JUST TEXT THE MANAGER IN-CHARGE OF YOUR WINNING PRIZE

From the 929 area code phone number, I was texted in all capital letters, like I was being yelled at, the "Manager" Micheal Scott, is a fictional character from The Office. The person said I couldn't speak of this to anyone, if I did then everything would be cancelled and I wouldn't get the money, then I was told I had to activate an account, so I could have the check sent to me per FedEx, UPS, etc.. , then said I would have to pay to activate account. That's when I realized it was a scam. They did get my first and last names, address, phone number, gender, occupation (I'm disabled) as asked.

The scammer asked how I would use the money and then validated what I said I would use it for saying that was a good reason and asked where I lived. He also asked how I would pay for the FedEx shipping for it to be delivered to me and gave me a list of choices and prices. And has been relentless in pressuring me to pay for it ever since and when I told him I did not have that kind of money he said that he could pay $87 of the $187 which was the cheapest way to ship it but said that that's all he could help with because of he was also having to still deal with helping others. I kept photos of all the conversation on Instagram with him as well as all of the text conversation with the supposedly FedEx person who is supposedly helping him. I received texts every day from them messages on Instagram from him asking how it's going and what's taking so long. I have not replied to them since I have looked it up and found out this is a scam. I have not paid him any money but his constant calling and texting is very distracting while I'm trying to drive a large trash truck and I needed to stop he needs to be put away in prison for what he is doing to people. This will only let me attach one photo so I don't know if you guys want to contact me to have me email you the other photos of the conversation maybe you can find something more damaging to him. I will attach the one that shows the first contact with him.
