I purchased a puppy online from Lovable Teacup Poodle Puppies in the amount of $750 last week. I read the reviews and it seemed completely legitimate. I paid the amount requested via venmo. I was in contact with someone who I thought was working for the breeder, we only communicated via email or text. I have all of the emails and text messages. The puppy was supposed to be delivered on Monday, 3/16, and everything seemed fine until I received a call from the transport company that I had to pay an additional $1000 to complete the transfer. Of course, I did not pay that fee but, I contacted the person I was dealing with and he told me that the fee had to be paid or the puppy could not be shipped. I requested a refund of my money several times and either do not receive a response or am told that they need to figure out how to get the puppy back from the transport company. I did contact the transport company but, have only received voicemail. I have all of the text messages and emails from the person that I dealt with along with the contact information.

I believe Lovable Teacup Poodle Puppies is a scam and I am not sure how to get my money back at this point. I am a Senior on a fixed income and wanted a companion since I live alone. I feel that I have been taken advantage of at this point. If there is a way that you can help me I greatly appreciate it. Thank you
