Scammer posing at Nathaniel Roy homeowner phone ************ ****** ** **** * ******** *** ***** ** ******* **** ********* ****** ********** ** ***** (the zipcode is actually wrong; should be 92503). Claiming that wife has cancer and they moved to Maryland to be close to family members and want a good renter to take care of the property. Asked that I drive by the property, look at the perimeter to see if I liked it then let them know if I want to then apply through email. They claim to have pulled the listing from the property management company because the property management wanted to charge more than they needed as money is not an issue to them they just wanted good renter/family. They offered a refundable deposit in order to Fedex me the key to see the inside of the home at $2200 then half the deposit of $1100; I did not do it. They told me I was approved and congratulations but send them half the deposit (now down to $1100) for the key to tour the inside. They provided me with Zelle information to their "family lawyer" Jonathan Ingram email [email protected] which appears to belong to someone name Scott in cashapp, it doesn't exist in Zelle. Everything seemed too good to be true. He told me he was a man of god. He wanted my picture ID but never provided me his.
