The scammer, Mike Arant of Lowcountry Fiberglass pools said that he could install a pool with a cover by May 2022 and that the cover was rated to hold enough weight so that we would not need to purchase a fence. He was given a $39,000 deposit.

He never got a permit, never did any work and when asked for a refund, refused.
