Booked flights for 3 passengers and received a confirmation that the flights had been reserved. Several hours had gone by and I had not received the tickets, so i called the help line and was told that the tickets i had bought were no longer available, even though i had received a confirmation that the flights had been reserved, but luckily for me, for the low price of $980, more than what the 3 tickets initially cost ($920), i could be upgraded to economy plus. I reached out to American Airlines and they confirmed they had tickets reserved for the 3 of us after giving them our information and that our tickets were in economy plus

The employee i spoke to spoke very quickly and with a thick Indian accent, and was attempting to get me to say that i authorize the upgrade to economy plus, which would have taken our total due to their company from $920 to $1900. Once i let him know that i had spoken directly to American Airlines and that they had confirmed that there were already reservations for the three of us in economy plus, the employee became very upset and confrontational. The employee told me that " there aren't tickets available through the airline for what you paid us, look for yourself", which i replied "that is why i bought them from your company and not the airline"

This company is actively running a bait and switch fraud scheme
