Recent LLC I registered was sent a demand letter containing threats of fines and claiming I'm required to pay them for employment law posters that are free to download from the govt.

Very official document threatening monetary fines for not displaying labor law poster they sell. Appears to be from the state, though there is a fine print disclaimer that they are not a government agency. Someone who is not very careful would think this is a fee required by the state.
