We received a Labor Law Poster Compliance Service Letter from LPCD in the mail to to send them a check/money order for $94.00 by a certain date to purchase a 2020 State & Federal Labor Law Poster. This "Public Record" document has another business' name listed on it but does has our address and our business UBI # on it. The letter clearly states that our business may be required by Federal Law, 29 USC Sec. 666 (i) & 2005 penalties of fines in excess of 7,000 per instance and that lawsuits can be toiled based on failure to comply with them. But goes on to state at the bottom of the letter that we are not required to purchase anything from their company and their company is non-affiliated, endorsed, or approved by any governmental entity and that the item offered has not been approved or endorsed by any governmental agency. The letter does not list a telephone number and the email address that is given is not valid because the email that I sent them was unable to be delivered.
