It's a scam please do not hire Rafael Aaron Segovia for an type of service it will not get done. Total rip-off! He only takes your money. Scam!

When we first hired Rafael Aaron Segovia to do an iron gate. He asked for half of the money to get the iron started. After that time period we contacted him but ignored our calls or lied every time he has a different excuse as to why the gate wasn’t ready. Giving him over $6k dollar caused a lot of stress and financial hardship. I started to read other peoples bad experiences and legal lawsuits filed under Rafael Aaron Segovia. I have no idea how you can still be in business if you can even call what you run a business! His a scam artist that belongs in jail.

Hired Rafael Aaron Segovia to do an iron gate. He asked for the down payment to get started. After the payment was made he ignored my calls and never installed the iron gate. He is a scam artist who has many bad reviews and over 20 small claims court filings against him. Beware! Don’t do business with this man.

I write this review after 10 long months waiting for my iron door. Also, with the hope he will read it and give me back my money. Rafael Aaron Segovia took 2,100 dollars from me and NEVER answered my calls. I write my story so that nobody else will get scammed by this man.I found Rafael Aaron Segovia on an app named offer up. I called and asked him for an estimate to make a custom iron door. On September 13, 2021, he sends his daughter Delma Yameli Collazo Solis (picture is shown above) to come and measure our door. She measured the door and had this contract with her. Rafael was on the phone at the time she was here and explain we needed to give half of the money so he can get started on the iron door. I took a picture of her license and the contract. The next morning my husband decided to go to the shop. Rafael was there and gave I got a copy of the contract. Around Oct 2021 I contacted him to know when the iron door would be ready and that is when all the excuses started. He told me all his workers had quit and he was working on his own. A week later he send me a picture of the iron stating that was our iron door he was working on and to give a couple of more weeks. When he send those pictures I felt like at ease. In the month of November he called asking if I would like the door handles and I said yes. He asked for an additional 200 dollars which I zelle to him. He proceeded to make excuses to why the iron door was not ready. In December 2021 he told me that all he needed was the tempered glass that he had placed an order for it but that it had not came in yet. Rafael guaranteed the door would be ready by Jan 4th 2022 By this time it would be 4 months waiting for the iron door. I heard from Rafael was Jan 29th and claiming he had surgery and would have the door ready by February. I did not hear back from him. I decided to text him in June that and again he promised he would have the iron door ready by June 9th. It is now August 1 st and I have not heard from him since. There is a lot of bad google reviews on this man and his company. I wish I would of done my research and read them before I hired him. I urge anybody who is thinking about hiring him to read the reviews.

Aron Segovia came to my house to take measurement of my gates and we agreed on the price. I gave him 4000 cash to start the work and he promised that in 3 months the work was going to be done. Its been more than a year and he just keep lying about delivery date. I was able to get his home address which this weekend I will be going to his home.

Do you have his address because he also scam me for $4500. He is still operating but I can't get his new address. I need to take him to small claim. Yes, he is a scammer and a thief.

Aron/L & R Design has not completed the work for over a year. He asked to have half of the money to start the work and he owes me 4000. I was able to find out his home address which I will be using sue him on small claims courts. If any of you have more info please share.

We were also scammed for $3500. Curious if you got the address and if anyone was successful in winning in small claims and did he actually pay you back?

I hope that this post will get read by people who are thinking of getting work done by him. STAY AWAY!

We give him &3675 to do railing and door he said will be ready 6-8 week but after he took his money he blocked us and never answer our phone until we went to his shop and he got mad why we went their he said he return a check for us with the full money but he never did

He scammed us for 3675 i need my money back i put my receipt my payment I want my money back and this guy should go to jail for scamming too many people the government will do something soon to him

The scammer, come over to your please. Measures whatever you need to get done makes a contract. Provide you with a fake license, Provide you with multiple work pictures, that does not belong to him. Ask for a good amount of money in cash, visa , check or “ sell” pay. However in a week or less than a week he disappear, he banish does not answer his phone calls or office at South El Monte. When he calls you back gives you many difference excuses regarding why he hasn’t called back or answer you or finish your work. This man is all over Google with bad Google reviews. From victim like me that been scam like me with thousands of dollars . This man is in Facebook advertising his iron doors stairs and driveway doors. And people they don’t know about him and never goes and check for his work to be legal. Fall in his hands with a big problem. Never seeing your money back or your work done. This guy is a big “ Scam”, a big liar and everything that he does is fraud. Please let’s put a STOP on him.

We contacted Rafael Aaron Segovia from L&R Iron Designs Corp. (C4680945) via Facebook. He advertised custom Iron designs for stairs. He came out to Victorville from South El Monte (2457 Chico Ave) on 03/23/2021 for an estimate. When he arrived I asked for verification of company which he showed me quickly. He also showed me a Live Video cam of his warehouse (God knows if its really his warehouse).

We proceeded with selecting a design and was given a contract of job completion of 6-8 weeks. Throughout the time, I contacted Karina (Office operator) for more details and information on the progress of our Iron.

Karina was very professional and tried her best to help us with the communication issue we were having with Rafael. But unfortunately, it was also a message left for him.

After the 8 weeks, we had decided to give him a last chance to come and complete the work or we would want a Full Refund (as contract had pass the 8 weeks).

We finally heard back from him after many MANY CALLS and he spoke to my husband on Monday (May 24, 2021) and stated he would be here Thursday (today, May 27,2021) to install and complete work between 8am-9am.

We believed his word and had our floor contractor rush his work for Rafael.

Of course with his lack of communication and the trust I had in his word, I started asking for ETA at 830AM. I called the office; no response. I called his cell phone; no response as usual.

He finally called my husband's phone at 10AM not even knowing who we were or what we were requesting.

The conversation was very short as he blamed us for wanting more information and updates. He stated he was not coming today and that we were "stressing him out" by our calls. Not to call his office again.. That he didn't have our Iron ready. He also said that he will not be completing the job and would give us a Refund. My husband expressed his concerns, as we NO longer have stair rails expecting him to be here (I have small children; this has become a DANGER TO THEM).

He agreed for a Full Refund ($1763.50); as Rafael BROKE HIS OWN CONTRACT. He hung up the telephone call on my husband which I AM NOT SURPRISED BECAUSE HE HAS HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME.

I AM DONE WITH THE APOLOGIES AND JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK WITH A CERTIFIED DATE OF TODAY MAY 27, 2021.

Therefore this company is a scam!

DO NOT FALL FOR THE LIES.
