I received the same text and was interviewed in the same fashion. Received a text from Thomas McDonald from tel number (279) 200-8003 and then the Skype invitation from Michael Robert. Text interview via Skype lasted almost 3 hrs. Offering me $35.65/ hr remote position flexible hours getting paid on a wkly basis. Everything sounded amazing until later on when the said salary way $35/hr biweekly. When i asked to confirm the salary they said 35.65/hr getting paid weekly. I noticed the inconsistency and googled for scams.

This is sick and evil. It’s the beginning of 2023 some of us are desperate looking for work and they are still scamming and robbing ppl even when we don’t have the funds.

Be safe y’all do you homework diligently before sending any info out to strangers

Fake interview

Interview was conducted and seemed real but once the started to ask for checks being deposited I grew hesitant. Came in this site and saw a similar person had the same issue. They said they needed the checks deposited to buy excel, Microsoft, and etc. They took a large part of the day to interview. All through Skype

Got the same email and it's definitely a scam. He talked about sending me checks for work supplies but I had never given my address or any other personal info.

I was offered a position as a Customer Service Representative, online job location then stated there would be a company opening near my area, hourly salary of $24.75, paid training of $15 per hour and comprehensive online training provided. Yes I was mislead once I asked for an office number I could call and they stated they weren't open due to COVID-19. They mailed me a FedEx package with the address from First Source Equipment Rental which I called and they stated they did not ship to anyone and were not affiliated with LSB Industries. I told the hiring manager the same and she stated the reason why it was addressed that way was because they were the best company that could mail it the quickest due to COVID-19. It included a check for $8,900.00 that is to be used to set up my own "mini office" along with a letter stating to e-mail Sarah Bryson at [email protected] to confirm receipt which I did and received no response. The check said it was from Zaman Construction Corp 97-53 85th Street Ozone Park, NY 11416 and Valley National Bank which I called and they advised it was most likely a scam. No they did not direct me to do something that I did not want to do. Yes there were unique characteristics about the tactics or the person contacting me. They were very well informed about the company and provided detailed information. They even offered to fly me out and see for myself that the company existed. I myself tried to do research on it. They have a corporate website and phone number, even a page on Facebook with 2 reviews.
