My family began corresponding with https:/lubbockmaltesefarm.com about Maltese puppies that were shown on their website. Family members corresponded by email and text Wednesday-Monday when my family decided on a particular puppy. The only forms of payment accepted by Lubbock Maltese Farm was the app Zelle and Cash App. I did not have either app but my teenage daughter did(but since she was a teenager, the app would only allow her to send money in $100.00 increments), so she sent $100.00 by Zelle. She was only able to send another $100.00 by Zelle. So, I downloaded the Zelle app and sent $100.00. My daughter then sent $100.00 by the Cash app. I then sent the final payment the morning of Monday, May 19, 2020 for a total of $500.00. Shipping the puppy was going to be $200.00 but I convinced the seller to let the shipping charge to be paid upon arrival of the puppy. I was told that the puppy would be shipped Tuesday and should arrive at my house Tuesday afternoon. The shipping company then contacted me Tuesday and said that there had been a delay and the puppy would not arrive until 8:45-9:00 p.m. I have tried to contact the seller by phone and email to no avail. I have also tried to contact the shipping company without success. (which will be another complaint).
