I received a threatening email that strangely started with my name and a previous address of mine (I moved away from that address 4 years ago). The sender included a PDF file that states they have hacked my computer and obtained control of my cellphone, although I have never seen signs of comprise of either my personal laptop or cell phone. I also have replaced cellphones since moving away from the above address.

At the end of the PDF threatening letter, they attached a photo to claim they have my personal information. It turned out to be just a screenshot of the Google Street View of the above address.

The sender requested $2000 to be sent to him/her by BitCoin.

I believe the sender has obtained at least some of my personal information -- my name, mobile number, and one of my previous addresses. I have reported to FBI on the IC3 website about this individual associated with this particular email address:

-"Otelia Lucero" as the scammer's name in the sender field
