I got a text with a link that took me to a page that claimed to be a customer service bot from walmart saying i had won a Samsung tv. They wanted $8.95 for shipping. Come to find out, I had won an entry for the tv sweepstakes (or something like that . . . Contest maybe, don't remember). So what's the $8.95 for? Of course it's a scam. If you win something, you don't pay for shipping.

Received a notification from walmart with a suspicious link. My husband hit the link and it took him to. A page luckywinningsclub.com where he was told he had won a samsang tv and to send $8.95 for shipping. I told him it was a scam. Had a certificate that was deemed secure but not right to me. Google said never heard of this page. Telephoned walmart to see if ligit. Of course it is a scam.
