Consumer almost bought a puppy from this website www.lucysdachshundhome.com for over $700. The business asked for payment through Zelle. After further research, we learned that the website was made in 2020 even though the owner claimed to be in business for years. They also claimed to be a member of the Better Business Bureau but aren't. We asked for their vet information, and when we called the vet, Mark, the call was very suspicious. It rang and rang then gave a weird automated message about it being a text machine or something. Didn't introduce the business for voicemail or anything. I got a call back a few minutes later. A woman claiming to be Mark said she was returning my call. She spoke as if she already knew what I was calling about. This is a scam.
