I am a chef, this “client” wrote me on a third party website and then insisted on me giving him my real number (which the website doesn’t allow and clients know that). He said he needed catering services for Thanksgiving, I quoted him 4000. He then asked me about the merchant I use to process payments (this is not a common question, I’ve never been asked this). He told me that he had already hired an even planner and chef but they didn’t take credit card payments like me. That he wanted me to take the payment and then send it to the event planner.
