I was purchasing a puppy from with breeder website. I had started talking to them through text. I was told the puppy would be 850 total for her. I paid the 850 signed ownership papers and everything. And I would get her Saturday.. Later that evening I was messaged I have to pay another 1000 for health certificate and rabies certificate. I told them I wanted cancel the adoption because that was not mentioned to me at all and that I paid the total amount I was told. I told them I wanted my money refunded to me. They told me I could get a refund I signed ownership papers and that they would charge me 700. If I didn't pay I lose out on the puppy and my money. I paid the 700. Next morning was told she be to me today. Then later morning get to I have to pay a license fee through dept agriculture before I get her and that would be any where between 1200 and 5000 depending the plan I choose. I told them I was not paying it that this was no where in the paper work all these extra cost and if I would have known I would have never tried to adopt her. I'm I'm single mom that saving up for puppy for my sons. And was completely taken advantage of. Was told 850 but paid 1550.00 and still being told I can't get her. And can not get my money back. I signed the ownership papers so the dog is mine and they are keeping her.
