I reach out to this person through messenger on Facebook about puppies because me and my husband was trying to purchase a family dog for our kids. This person sent me a websites with puppies and prices. They told me to check out the puppies and prices and let them know which one I’m interested in buying. So I have chosen one of the puppies they had up for $4,200 I reached out to them ask them about that female micro American bully puppy, they have told me that she just got sold but her status on the website was still available so I don’t get it why it’s still there. Then they offer that they had another one similar to that puppy we was interested in and it’s supposedly a personal kept pup from the litter but for some reason they want to give her away to a person of choice. They asked for $1000 upfront and the puppy was for 5k but I told them my budget is around 4K and they were okay with it. So they told me once I put in the upfront payment which is to hold the dog so no other buyers can buy it then I will get a contract. I then send the payment and he told me he will work on the contract and send it to me thru text messages. Now 6hours later it was already past midnight this person send me a message with the paper contract with his info and my info. On the contract there was this section of how much the puppy was selling for and another upfront fee for $500 that we never discussed before on there he added that himself then he told me I’m going to have to pay him that $500 now and on Thursday when I go pick up the puppy the remaining balance in cash would be $2,500. I start questioning him that why am I paying extra upfront fee when we never discussed that he now said that was supposed to be the amount and I was just not informed about it. After that I told him it’s too much for a upfront fee when I haven’t even got the puppy yet. He then never replied back. My $1000 is gone. I can’t get a reach of this person anymore.
