We were looking to buy an Italian greyhound puppy and found this site with multiple puppies listed for adoption with a fee of 600$. We inquired on the website and got an email shortly after from Luxury Italian greyhounds. They gave details about the puppy and the pricing and everything included and provided payment options via Zelle. We paid 750$. 600+150 transport fee. The supposed pet transport company reached out shortly after. Starwood pet transport co? And kept asking for more money, claiming the puppy needed to be transported in a heated crate that would be an additional 1500$. We paid it. The day of the expected arrival of the puppy, “Starwood” pet transport emailed again, asking for 1980$ for insurance to transport the puppy. This is when we realized it was a scam. This was all over email, we called the number listed and a random Indian dude answered the phone. Very unprofessional and we felt silly once we realized we had just been robbed of 2200$ and an expected new puppy.
