I was approached through text message. They told me I would be making $1500 maintaing high end rentals through Airbnb. They had me set up a badge through the Airbnb website and had me send them a code to verify that I had verified my badge. They set up a zoom meeting. Day of the zoom meeting and no one calls me. I contact them through the original form of contact (text message) and also I went to the website they had given me to prove they were a legitimate company after I told them I needed more information because I couldn't find anything about them online and I sent them an email. I did all of this to no avail, they never reached out to me. I have given them 2 weeks to respond and I haven't gotten anything. I emailed them today and told them that I would be reporting them to the BBB. They have my name, phone number, email address and home address. Who knows what they will do with that information. I just don't want anyone else to fall for it. I'm usually really on top of fake interactions and scams, I just really wanted a job so bad that I guess I overlooked all of the red flags.
