Scammer contacted me for a job interview, had me fill out a “interview questionnaire”. Upon being given an offer, they asked me to purchase PPE for the job with money they sent.

I was contacted via email about a position I had applied for with the company. I had sent out several resumes and did not remember the exact position I had applied for, and I noticed their email did not include the job title but did include the pay and benefits.

I was told to reach out to a different employee over Skype to set up an interview. I thought this was strange but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Instead of scheduling a video interview, the employee started copy/pasting job requirements and responsibilities into the chat and asking if I was okay with them. When I pointed out differences in the pay offered between the chat and the email I received, he assured me the higher amount was correct. However, he was very sketchy about the time commitment, and when I asked for more details regarding benefits, he pasted another vague list of benefits and said I'd get more details in the employee benefits booklet.

At this point, I was ready to duck out, but then the employee asked if I was ready to proceed with the interview. Thinking we'd finally get on camera to discuss the position, I said yes. He proceeded to send me an introductory message about himself which felt very artificial along with a request for basic information that he should have from my resume. At this point, I started looking deeper into the company and found this page. I alerted the employee that I was no longer interested in continuing the interview, and then he tried calling me multiple times.

I had submitted an online application to Lyra Health via a job recruiter site. I was then emailed by a guy under the name of Bryan Grant with the email [email protected] telling me the hiring manager was interested in interviewing me and gave me the zoom instructions. I did an interview via zoom messenger with an individual named Williams Anderson. After the interview someone under the name Andrew Koran emailed me via [email protected] a bunch of paperwork asking for personal information and asked for my phone provider information and password so the company could “buy me a phone”. Total rip off. Was excited about the position, too.
