I have received two texts informing me that a security code was requested for access to an account. I do not have an account with this bank.

Looks like they used my personal cell phone number in the email address used to text my personal cell. I do have an account through M&T but this obviously isn’t M&T. Rhetorical question but not sure how they Could know I have an account through them unless using like equifax breach or just broad *** phishing.

I got a email from this person. Saying that I needed to check my bank account with M & T Bank.
