M Theory Total SCAM!

I gave M Theory Design a $2500 deposit through Venmo 8/2021 thinking I had buyer protection but didn’t read fine print that it only lasts 180 days. And project lead time was “6-8 weeks”. He kept delaying the project for excuse after excuse but also made it seem like there was progress being made. I demanded he give me the contact info for sofa frame maker which he actually did and after several delays bc of George Michael (Michael George/ Mycal Edwards/not really sure what his real name is) the frame was finally made. After further delays the frame went to upholsterer who has had it for four months and not received a deposit to get started.

I second the statement above. Scammer. After giving the deposit and repeatedly asking for a ship date he demanded the rest of the payment be made in full before shipping. It never stated in the contract that I was required to pay the amount in full before shipping. I finally got a ship date and that still to this day the order hasn’t been filled. I suggested a COD where I am protected and was flat out refused. He runs you in circles and then puts it back on you that the problems are there because you did something wrong. I did what was contracted and required of me. I paid the deposit. Waiting for a shipping date. Finally was given one… 6/8/22. And I still dont have a product. I am still being run in circles. I requested a refund and flat out denied. He is a scam.

sent 3500 dollars. Got nothing after a year and 100 unreturned messages and emails. Sometimes he reached out after 30 attempts top reach him, just to keep it all going but never produced anything. total scam.
