Writer's Dominion (Bakersfield, CA) is pretending to be one of the giant publishers known as Macmillan Publishing company (New York City, NY). I talk to a Customer Service representative in a website chat box called Adam Miller who was trying scam by selling publishing package deals that really cheap compared the normal price of thousands dollars by larger Self-Publishing companies. I kept questioning him Publishing industry standard questions and his answers didn't make sense. I was also shocked at the low price of the first package which was $500. It included everything plus editing which averages about $3,000 in other companies and editing is an usually extra cost. He kept relentlessly trying to push the package deals on to me and as well as trying to upsell me at the same time. Everything seemed questionable and unbelieveable to me. I sent an email to Macmillan company explaining things but I'm still waiting for a response. I checked back on Google maps and at the same location the company name changed to Writer's Dominion from Macmillan in Bakersfield, California through the use of Google maps.
