While shopping on Facebook Marketplace I encountered an ad for a Christmas Sale-Nestle Chaise Lounge with Dual cupholder size 64"W 66" d 37" H for $35.98 plus $12.00 shipping and $2.00 for insurance. The email address they used is [email protected]. Shortly after ordering, I received an email with the following information:

Order No: 23154852_696869

Seller website: Shown as macy-sales.com.

Payment Date & Time: 2024-01-07 01:21:01.0.

Amount: 49.98 USD.

Payment NO: FK2401061721014994

I tried to track the order and it came back as not existing. I called my credit card company and requested a new account. At his point, there is not a fraudulent charge. Please contact me for more information if needed.

Was targeted on Facebook for a chair on sale by what appeared to be a Macys Outlet. Realized after placing the order and a shipping label was never created that it was a scam. We reported it to our bank and we’re able to get our money back but wanted to make others aware of this scam.

I purchased two lounge chairs from Macy*s Christmas clearance sale. Was able to track package up until it said waiting for courier. It was supposed to be shipped within 3 days by FedEx.

An ad popped up on Facebook marketplace. I clicked on it and saw a good deal on a cat litter box. I bought it and then emailed the address and it bounced back. I realized it was a bogus website and closed my credit card.

I should have listened to my instincts, but I ordered a chaise lounge through these people and after tracking the order for 2 days, all of a sudden, the information is not found. how do I get my money back? their contact page AFTER I had already placed my order:

Description

I purchased a Nestle Chaise Lounge from Macy's Clearance Store which came across on FaceBook and Instagram on 12/17/23. The chair was $49.98. I received an order confirmation, then found a ScamPulse.com scam alert about the same product. I doubt I will ever see a chaise lounge.

The actual charge on my card came up as A Life of Luck. I checked into it and it is an actual website that is an online clothing store, but not affiliated with Macy's.  Showed it was being shipped from Kacartapps.com

The scammers posted an Ad on Instagram. Where when you click on it it brought you to the website. They make it appear as if they are associated with Macys. They stole Macys logo & picture of a Macys as well. They were offering furniture at discounted prices. Fake policies, fake “site protected” etc.
