My family member saw an ad on Facebook for a job offer reviewing products online for Macy's. After applying, they were given training on how to open a cryptocurrency account and was shown that they were earning money for each review completed. However they were asked to deposit $60 to receive the payout for their work. Then was asked to deposit more the next day. They overall lost $200 and the scammer wanted them to deposit another $800 before they called it a loss and quitting.

Ad on Instagram for Ugg Taz slippers, clicked through to what looked like a legitimate Macy’s outlet website. Ordered on 1/12, have not received anything nor have they responded to multiple email inquiries.

I received no response to my email inquiry about the order or shipment when I emailed the customer service email [email protected] (provided on the shipping email), or [email protected] provided on the merchants website. Per the return policy, they can’t cancel the order when already shipped out, so I had no way of cancelling the order when I tried to contact customer service. I discovered this merchant website is a scam with fake operating systems and was charged for something I never received. I disputed this with my credit care company, Capital One, and opened a dispute claim that’s ongoing investigation after I provided details and screenshots. I never received this item and the merchant did not attempt to resolve the situation, they never responded to my requests.

19 Emails, 2 and 1/2 months of waiting, and two false claims that the items I ordered had been delivered.

This was an advertisement I saw on my cell phone. I saw furniture advertised for a great price, as a clearance sale. I ordered a large couch and 3 smaller lounges. They sent me a confirmation number and a tracking website to track my order. It took a long time for the item to "be delivered". Once the tracking site said that it was delivered, it was not. I contacted the company using their email several times and they responded. Once I complained that my order was not delivered, they stopped responding. I finally contacted the "company" via the legitimate website, and they had no record of me or my order and they don't even offer this product.

The ad was form Macy’s department store, overstock UGG shoes at a great discount with a limit of only five per order. Great selection with good pictures. All of the webpages had Macy’s on it and it looked like a Macy’s ad and stated it was directly from Macy’s. I did not see the suspicious emails or contact information until after the order was placed. Once the order was placed, the money was immediately removed from my account. The contact information listed was false. I could not reach anyone via email or phone number given. I never received the shoes.

"Macy's" was advertising an Autumn home clearance sale. These scammers used Macy's store images and Macy's trademark star to promote their SCAM! I believe the ad originated from Facebook. I purchased 2 of the items, and believed I was getting 3 day FedEx shipping. I never received the items. When I contacted "macy-homesale customer service," I was basically informed that the item was on the way and to be patient. There is no phone number listed for this company, and the address "appears" to be in Ireland. I, obviously know that all of these things are red flags and should raise suspicious, but because I had no reason to check the email address, phone number, and address BEFORE purchasing, I didn't. I honestly believed I was purchasing this from Macy's. Beware!

The scammer collected my credit information, email address, shipping address, and phone number. They were pretending to sell goods as a Macy's outlet.

Thought I was buying 2 Human Dog beds from Macys then received a tracking number coming from China. Over the next 2 weeks it was in transit and then said delivered but I never received the products. And there is no way to contact the scammers.
