Ordered a bracelet in September with 3 birthstones (~$100), only started wearing it in November (after the birth of my 3rd child) Now 3 months later and the string is frayed by the stones. I contacted customer support hoping they would replace their defective item. The response was you have to pay $30 to change the string. The item is clearly flawed and now everytime the string is frayed I have to pay $30 to replace it? That's ridiculous! Never shopping with this company again.

Magal always endeavors to provide an honorable experience to each customer, and we’re sorry not to make you feel that way! The 14-day mark is put into place for any manufacturing defects or issues related to the production of the jewelry piece. Beyond this time frame, manufacturing defects are not covered and maybe that could be the reason our team has quoted a cost for the repair.

I ordered a name necklace for my daughter in law for Mother’s Day. Took 3 weeks to deliver and when I received it you couldn’t read the names and it was scuffed up. Kelly told me to return it and they would redo. Now I had to buy another gift because of this. I received the new necklace this week. I approved the names. But they take a pic in bright light and it looks good then you get it and same issue. Can’t read names and there was a noticeable indentation in the top. She basically said you approved the names and you’re stuck with this crap jewelry. Do NOT order from Magal Jewelry. Below are two different necklaces I received. Dark background was first one. The one with the white background I approved. Received the second necklace and those pics are red background. She said it must of got damaged in shipping and I didn’t pay extra for their shipping protection package. Good thing or I would be out more $$. SCAM!

The product page of this necklace has a description section that tells you all about the (size/dimensions/thickness, etc.). Also, each piece goes through quality checks and is done by the best in the field, so you're assured of the jewelry you order and get. We have already done an exception for you once by providing free-of-cost replacement even though the product sent to you was in perfect condition and there was no Route protection on your order.
As per our policies we have clearly mentioned that it's recommended to purchase (route insurance) and see that on your original order, it was not chosen, hence we won’t be responsible for any damaged package.
We understand such situations may arise and hence have initiated an insurance policy that every customer can purchase at the time of placing the order.
Magal always wants to help and assist customers to the best of our capabilities. And are now hoping for your understanding!

Oh, how I wish I had seen/read these reviews of Magal Jewelry before purchasing. And oh, how I hope that prospective customers will follow through and research before being dreadfully disappointed.
The type of service (if that’s what you want to call it) offered by Magal is an embarrassment to e-commerce, and an insult to individuals who are honest and trusting.
Hard lesson learned: My husband wanted me to choose a gift for my children to give me for Mother’s Day…I selected a Moonstone beaded necklace with an .11 diamond charm. The package finally arrived and was wrapped and kept as a ‘surprise’ until Mother’s Day.
On May 14th, I unwrapped and opened my necklace…only to see a string of orange and gray beads (not at all the color of the moonstone beads in their website photo), and a GRAY COLORED diamond with a DARK FLAW located at the top of the stone. Of course, I had to hide my dismay.
However, we began emailing (because naturally, no phone number 🙄) 3 days later on May 17th.
For the sake of the reader, I’ll give the short version: NO assistance, NO consideration, NO help, NO exchange. Just formulated, rehearsed responses.
We made it crystal CLEAR that we were not seeking a refund…we were fully aware that we had surpassed that very intentional, very short window. 🙄 All we asked for was a replacement necklace…the SAME EXACT necklace MINUS a gray diamond with a dark flaw.
What was Magal’s response you ask?
NO.
Suffice to say, this company (which boasts about being sustainable and cutting-edge in the industry of conflict-free quality diamonds/jewelry making) is a racket. The RED FLAG 🚩 that should bring fair warning to ALL is their return window. Any company who truly seeks to develop loyal customer service would be willing to back their products and uphold a standard of quality that they verbally indicate.
RUN don’t walk…swiftly far and away from Magal Jewelry.
Bottom line: There’s a plethora of other online companies to purchase special, individualized, non-cookie-cutter jewelry from. Search long and hard, and do your homework.
Don’t be SCAMMED.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I had a horrible experience with this company and its products. I ordered a necklace for my wife on May 6th with a GUARANTEE their website were offering that my order would be delivered by Mother’s Day. The order took 3.5 WEEKS to arrive. I obviously had to buy another gift for my wife. After requesting multiple times that my money be refunded they refused every time and only refunded me $10. The product arrived and it is more than disappointing. The ring necklace is so small and the letters barely visible. The ring is cheap and hollow and came with tons of scar marks. SO DISAPOINTING

I ordered a Mother's Day necklace on April 29th and then got an email notification that my order had shipped. But the tracking number doesn't work and it has been stuck like this for over a week. I have tried emailing and messaging the company, but NO RESPONSE. I should have checked online first and it's obvious now they are a scam site. Unless I get a response within the next 24 hours, I am filing a claim with my credit card

I ordered on April 11th with a promised 5-7 business days delivery time. It is May 4th, the date I need the gift for, and the necklace has not been shipped.

I purchased a necklace for my mom for her birthday. It was a sentimental piece that has my name on one side and my deceased brother’s name on the other side. I ordered this necklace in December 2022 to ensure that my mom received it by her birthday 1/3/23. So the necklace arrived prior to her birthday, but to my surprise when I opened the box to view the item, I noticed that it had a fingerprint engraved on one of the names on the necklace. I tried to wipe it off to no avail. The fingerprint was quite prominent to the point that my mom pointed it out once she received it. A couple of days after my mother’s birthday I emailed Magal Jewelry to see if I could get some assistance with my product since it was custom, and whoever made it touched it before it was completely dry or whatever which cause the print to stay permanently. Well I never received a reply back from Magal about my purchase and while speaking with my mom today she sent me a few pics of the necklace that she’s had for less than 6 months and I couldn’t believe that it was the same necklace. It looks so bad, and which is the reason that I’m up now leaving a COMPLAINT. I can’t believe this company doesn’t have a proper customer service support team available, especially with the prices they are charging. I’m beyond livid and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop with them. Anyway it is now May 1 and the necklace is tarnished sooooooo bad that my mom no longer wears it. She started complaining about the color changing within a month after receiving it. She’s never slept, showered, or anything out of the ordinary with the jewelry. Save your money guys, it’s not worth it!

i initially was a little skeptical whether I will get my order on time, as this was a gift for my daughter for valentines day, but Magal did not only change my opinion about them, by delivering it super fast, my daughter loved her necklace and wears it every day since she got this.

TLDR: DON’T BUY FROM MAGAL THEY DONT DELIVER PACKAGES AND REFUSE TO HELP DESPOTE VIDEO EVIDENCE. I paid for a bracelet and never received it. I have an outdoor camera showing I didn’t get the package and Magal is still refusing to send a replacement or refund. There was no option to pay for shipping insurance or choose a carrier either. This is unacceptable and I want everyone to know so they don’t get scammed like me.

More detailed story: I placed an order for a gift for my sister. This is the 4th bracelet I purchased so I have been a loyal customer and intended to keep being one. However, the package never arrived. This was 2 months ago. I contacted customer service and explained I didn’t get the package and offered to send the video footage of my outdoor camera as proof I didn’t receive it. THEY SAID IT IS MAGAL’S PROTOCOL TO NOT PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT OR A REFUND NO MATTER WHAT. I have emailed back and forth with customer service for over a month and they have refused to help me in any way. If they offered shipping insurance or different options for carrier I would maybe understand but the USPS is the only option on their US site.

Customer service says they are ‘sorry for the disagreement’ but will not do anything at all to help me because ‘it’s protocol’. So if you don’t receive your package via the only carrier they offer, the USPS, that’s it, sucks for you. Terrible service and business model as I intended to keep being a customer but now I obviously will never purchase anything from Magal ever again and recommend that you don’t either. There are many great brands out there that will actually help you if they don’t deliver the product you pay for so go there instead.

I ordered a necklace and bracelet from Magal 3 weeks ago and they have not arrived. Rather than taking responsibility and replacing or refunding me the company is blaming USPS and sending me snide responses when I reach out to them.

Avoid this company at all costs. They clearly have no regard for their customers.
Order never arrived

I ordered a Magal bracelet about a month ago. I received it quickly and it is cute. However, I have only worn it about 5 times, and there are already 3 fraying spots on the strings. They claim they use 'high quality', nearly unbreakable Italian string... Contacted customer service, and they won't refund my money since it is out of their 14 day return window. But they can restring the bracelet for $30... So basically, they only guarantee a $115 bracelet to last for 14 days, and outside that, they will charge you to fix it?
Ridiculous. They are cute but not worth the money. Buy a cheap knock-off and save yourself the money.

No compensation after being a loyal customer!

This is for a diamond pave bracelet that says mama. It was only worn a few times and broke in half yesterday. The word mama in diamonds cracked in half,and now says ma ma. (I have spent thousands of dollars on this website). No customer loyalty. I did repurchase the bracelet since it was a gift. Unlike MAGAL,they will not replace their broken items!

I ordered a bracelet with 3 rings on it for my wife. When it arrived I was horrified by the size - it was tiny. I asked for a refund and was told that because I used a coupon, I couldn't have a refund! Instead, I was forced to buy a replacement bracelet I neither need or want. The website offers a full refund guarantee and nowhere does it say if you use a coupon they are going to screw you. Big surprise there. Not my idea of customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM MAGAL. The replacement bracelet has the "large" diamond in it, which is also microscopic.

My husband purchased a bracelet for me using the 20% discount offered for liking Magal ‘s website. I did not like the bracelet and returned it the day I received it via USPS in its original packaging and insuring it for $200. We received a message that the company would not refund our credit card because the 20% offer was considered as a sale item. NO WHERE on the Facebook site did it indicate there was a no return policy. I have contacted them via e-mail and they refuse to credit our account even though they now have the bracelet and our money.

One of the bracelet we ordered, the threads already have many places peeling since day one that we received the package. We contacted them to replace and they asked for $30 for replacing the threads. (Why do we need to pay to fix the defective item you originally sent out? Ridiculous!) And they don't even allow you to return this defective item that they sent out.

This is complete BS. Do not purchasee from magal. They are scammer with no professional customer service.

Ordered 3 of these bracelets and the quality was terrible. The string used was not silky or strong, it was sewing thread. Totally ridiculous for the price charged. See my photo then compare to the Magal web page. Not even close! Total waste of money.

I ordered 6 bracelets from Magal. Three of these bracelets needed the string resized and one needed the string color changed, which I paid $30 for. It took a month for the bracelets to come back to me. When they arrived one of the medium sized round diamonds was switched from medium to small. I contacted Magal who denied this claim and refused to help and stopped responding to my emails. Attached is the picture of the receipt for the medium sized diamond bracelet that I had shipped to them. The second picture I attached is the picture of all 4 bracelets I sent to Magal and the size difference of the diamond I received back. Both round bracelets were received by Magal as the medium sized diamond

Sent me a damaged bracelet and now demanding I pay shipping to have it fixed. This was their error. Shipping and all charges should be on this company to fix this. Their customer service is an absolute exercise in frustration, and it is clear that American standards are not being applied to quality control or customer service. It is becoming evident that I am dealing with fraudsters and will have to file a fraud claim with my bank. Incredibly angry. This is complete BS. Do not bother purchasing from magal you will be charged a pretty penny for damaged goods and then jerked around by a flippant and unprofessional customer service person.
