I was trying to transport a Russian Blue kitten from North Dakota to Ohio. I sent $750- $550 for the kitten and $200 for the shipping. Then the Carrier company called Mega Pets Ways messaged me saying the crate the breeder sent was too small. I was asked for $1500 for a thermal crate, which made sense given the weather near me. All I could send was $1000 and so they took it. Next day they said they needed $1500 for additional vaccinations and city permit. The gentleman said there were no more fees. I then got an email asking for $1000 for accommodations and food. I drew the line there. I have no idea what recourse I have now and I feel foolish.
