I was on puppy find.com where my fiancé and I were looking to purchase a puppy. We then got into contact with a breeder and gave us all the information that we needed to feel comfortable to purchase this puppy. We have text messages and pictures of the puppy we were going to buy. From there we decided to call them and put a deposit down on the puppy we wanted. After we put a deposit down of $500 through Venmo account (Joseph-Grady-16) they cut off all communications and deleted their Instagram page. We had no way of contacting them after they cut off all communication. Their phone number (813-838-7213) We went through our text messages and found a screenshot of the Venmo we were supposed to pay the deposit to. The only other transaction this Venmo made was to a person who we got in contact with. This person also told us that she too was scammed by the same person and that the Venmo we both paid must’ve been a fake Venmo account. We then contacted Venmo and also puppy find so that the accounts that we were in contact with we’re both a scam. Unfortunately Venmo said that there was nothing that they could do and puppy find said that they see nothing wrong with their account. They also said it is up to us if we want to take legal action. We said to them in an email that if we found that other people have flag this account on puppy find.con and they decided not to take it down and loose $500 to they must be found responsible as well for not taking this fraud seriously. With all that being said I contacted my bank to see if there was anything that they could do to reverse the $500 payment they said that there was nothing however they said to go to this website and file a report and see if there was anything that you guys could do.

I know these people have scammed a lot more other people than just us we only found one person with doing little bit of investigation ourselves these people need to be held responsible for doing what they did to us and two other people that we know they’ve done this to. Thank you for your time.
