Received a mailer stating I should call the phone number immediately or lose my "waiver." Attached was a phony check for $199.00 and no mention of what the waiver was for. A loan I recently took out was referenced, as was the bank I used, but no other information. Further research seems to show this is an attempt to trick recipients into signing/cashing the check and being subject to a home warranty or other insurance contract without knowledge of charges, fees or even who the policy is through. A complete and utter scam.
