I wanted to purchase a toy poodle. But after research and trying to verify shipment I came to believe it was a scam.

One the person on the other end did not give me the proof I requested and started ignoring my messages I knew this was a scam.

If you already paid for shipping and have the dog ready to ship and all you are waiting for is my payment, why not send one more photo or video of the pup in the crate at the shipping co? just to ease your clients mind.

I found this website looking for poodle breeders. None of the puppies look like they’re related. The weights listed for the puppies are the same in the toy category. That is what I was looking at. Their price is $600. Most breeders charge anywhere from $1100-$2500 for a toy poodle. I was looking to buy one in the future, like 6 years from now. I sent them an email with this information and asked if they saw themselves breeding that far down the road. They emailed me back a form letter. It was poorly written, and obviously not from a breeder who is trying to make a good impression on a prospective buyer. Also the shipping price they quoted was way too low, and cannot be one price to all over the world. I looked up the domain on Whois.com. It was just registered in may this year and expires in 1 year. I am able to provide the email if needed. The state listed on Whois is Panama. Obviously not in Illinois.

Emailed through this website. Emailed back and text. Prices originally $700 but came down to $500 + shipping.

Started looking suspicious so I googled them and realized it was a scam. They stopped answering my questions and started talking about how to send money.

Don't be fooled!!
