Type of a scam Online Purchase
A day or two later, i called him back, he answered, and we proceeded with the sale. He had a payment processor call me to take my information.
He then immediately sent me an invoice for the purchase. I talked and text with him several more times over the next 10 days as i was requesting a tracking or shipping information.
Eventually, i called the 800 number at the bottom of the invoice. The man who answered didn't know anything about the purchase and asked me if i dealt with Jason or Allen, i said yes, and he replied it was a scam and i was the 3rd person to call that week.
I immediately went to my bank to file a fraud claim. I also submitted another parts request through their website to see what would happen and got a response from the guy named Allen. His response looked exactly like Jasons response to me initially.
I have texts, call logs and emails saved as documentary evidence.
