I’ve reported all the accounts to Facebook they did NOTHING! Said all is fine ? his just contacted me for 3rd time

After I posted some warnings on their fake pages, they began harassing me. Every day, I receive friend requests from up to 16 different versions of Richard D Clarke, Eric T Hill and a handful of others. They plaster my profile photo on their pages and follow me around Facebook commenting on my posts and comments. I began documenting the US military officials and to date, have recorded more than 10,000 fake accounts. I report and block them all, but they constantly create new accounts so that they can continue their scam and harassment activities. General Richard D Clarke, for example, is adding 60-100 new accounts daily and at this rate, is on track to have 10,000-12,000 accounts by year's end! I have reported almost 3,000 fake accounts (all with obvious signs of fakery) with the result that Facebook has removed just 12 of them! The number of account removals can't even keep pace with the rate of new account creation! Attached is a pdf of names and number of accounts. I have concluded that it is time to quit Facebook.

I believe I am being scammed by the same scammers. It's the same story pretty much. He hasn't asked for money yet, I'm so glad I found out about this site. I have noticed that he evades certain questions but yet fishes for information about me. I'm not falling for it. I have him blocked on Facebook but can't get rid of him on hangouts if anyone can help let me know... Thanks. To the real Major General Eric T. Hill thank you for your service and sacrifice it is greatly appreciated.

much the same as everyone else... he contacted me through Facebook. Said quote: I am sat in tears looking at your picture, I thought it was my very dear friend from Canada who died some time ago...then the usual crap send me a friend request etc etc...
Being a "kind" person I felt sorry for him and did as asked...even though I am aware of scammers etc...
It went on from there , so easy to get taken in by such a handsome man putting his life on the line in Syria...
But I wasn't out for romance, at my age even 70 year olds done want me, never mind a gorgeous 60 year old...he NEVER asked for money but I did loose my Facebook site...my bank put restrictions on my account, due to someone trying to use it, ( but maybe that was something else because I never gave any details of bank.)..it took an expert Apple tech to get my Facebook back under my email...big dramas for two weeks...he had many variations of the name Eric Todd Hill, the same name but different and all had a different email addresses... I didn't know where I was six different variations and email addresses at one time... I just feel so very sorry for the REAL Major General Eric Todd Hill and his family...being dragged through the mud like this ...and its a shame that the Pentagon or whoever handles these things can't do something to protect their personal from this kind of thing... I find it hard to believe that it cannot be done
All I can say is ... I wish... that he was REAL and he was interested in me...

This is not a complaint, it's not Major General Hill sending all the scam messages. They've stolen his identity, mine and my messenger and Google Chat as well. There are no words for the mess. I do feel sorry that his name is all over luring women in.

04.Febr.2022 - I just got a message on FaceBook from this one called US Airforce Eric Todd Hill, it was as comment to a picture I sent to my friends line. I checked on Google about and saw the picture and photo of USA Major E.T.Hill. I blocked this one. It is scam - here is the message:
**May this day lead you a step closer to your dreams than you were yesterday. Good day, I'm really much impressed about your profile and personalities. I also admire your good sense of humor on here. I don't normally write in the comment section, but I think you deserve this complement...I'll like to be your friend if you don't mind, Kindly click on my profile and send me friend request so we can talk more. Remain bless and stay positive.**

My experience has been very interesting to say the least.Even though whoever the scammer knows I know the military inside out and I call the person on everything he or she doesn't realize I'm correcting them. I'm working on a list of isp numbers now. Then the country of origin will be known. Doesn't anyone realize that someone of his rank, there's man is a aMajor General would NEVER EVER be woman hunting especially online for heavens sake.i was married to a man in the Air Force and we are divorced, I called him twice reading crap to him, he had a good laugh. Im just biding my time waiting for is numbers.While I wait I am thee cutest little soon to be wife lol. I asked him when his retirement is because lucky is going with him lol! He doesn't know because of all the paper work to be cleared, to which I said everybody knows their retirement
Good gawd. He doesn't vanish even I call him on things. He asked if I'd take his little boy as my own, the kid is 17 for real. The wife did die in a car accident, things like that are easy to check.Then some days whoever is texting actually makes sense about the real man's work, he is where this says,
It's a real cat and mouse game I intend to win.Ive never been asked for anything. But due to the nature of my 40 year career I speak directly Tha lot of lonely women, I was asked what my career was because I sound in control. I honesty talked about my career, yes I was in a position of authority, thats who I am. I talked about a family member who was a general, the books he has written, yes I was a pilot too, so I don't get a lot of stupidity. I just need to find where the messages are from.wish me luck in a hurry.

He has numerous accounts on FaceBook. One of the accounts has a Nigerian phone number on it. That's the one he is using on me right now. However, I'm not new to this crap. Right now I'm just wasting his time talking to him. I also know he is not Eric T Hill. This guy has stolen the poor man's pictures and name. Not sure how to catch him and stop this. I guess educating the women is the best route. I hate to see all the money that has been sent to this [censored]!

Have you found out where this person really is or where he is texting from. He has said the same thing to me about losing his wife in a crash and would I take care of his son who is 16. Did he ever give you the names of his wife and son?

How could I forget, I was a dream come true but don't ask questions, but I can ask you. There were so many red flags some days, others none.so after I called scammers out for dragging his name through the mud I immediately got blocked. I wasn't able to get one ISP. I'm sure it will happen again.

Thanks for reporting this person he got me but hadn't asked for money yet shot me a lot of bs about being in Syria etc and wanted a relay I have him blocked on Facebook but don't know how to get rid of him on hangouts does anyone know how to do that

I have been contacted by a so called Maj Gen Eric T Hill on Hangouts app and he is giving me the same story as Lisa. I ask questions but he evaded them. He has shown so called documents of identity but there are spelling mistakes and badly written English. He is now mentioning money, how he does not have access to his accounts and has a firm to be completed giving next of kin which he has asked me. No I know this is a scam but I wonder how far he’ll go.

Hello, just to let you know this person recently invited me to be his friend on Facebook(his profile has since been taking down). We started talking and he almost immediately started talking of love and being in a relationship after one day. Red flag ladies! Needless to say, he was in Syria, had a son and was a widow. Would not clarify what happened to his wife, then he stated during one conversation he was divorced (red flag #2) what happened to the deceased one?. We conversed for days with him invading most questions (what’s his home town like, birthday, etc). Today, he used the recent bombing in Syria in attempts to secure money from me to send his portfolio in the tune of $2000.00. It just didn’t ring true. He ask me to lie about something and this is against my integrity and against his! I knew then this is not the person I thought him to be. I had opportunity to use multiple search engines and this scam has been reported before through various websites. Please don’t fall for this scammer! Luckily, I came out unscathed, but I know I’m one of the few who didn’t fall for this. I decided to play his game against him. Although I really wished it was true, It’s not. To the real Eric T Hill, thank you for serving and sacrificing for our country. God bless you and your family.

I have My account restrictions were randoes can’t friend request me. But I did see three different profiles from this person with three different names, and they did like pictures that I had on my Facebook page of birds. All of these likes happened within about a week. That’s when I took a screenshot of all their faces and pictures and then looked at them side-by-side and thought these all look like the same person. Of course I was never gonna message him or Rando. A friend of mine said the same thing happened to her and she was messaging back-and-forth. And then she googled him and found all of this stuff. Once he started asking for her email.

I received a friend request from him. Knowing it was a scam, I immediately deleted it. Sorry for the ones that fall for this crap. Not really sure what can be done about it. This isn’t the first I have received from scam artist and probably won’t be the last. Hopefully I can keep my good sense to just delete them immediately.

Yes the same stuff had a son in boarding school wife died in car accident I called him out he blocked me this man's got to be stopped can't use our military people to do some kind of b******* like this an extremely upsets me that this keeps going on I'm very patriotic my daddy my grandpa my brother my brother-in-law my husband they were all serving in the service and their time and for this whatever you want to call him a [censored] or a loser is the attention has got to be brought they've got to be stopped they're hurting women that have already been hurt and yeah it's nice to talk to somebody but you know that's just wrong I'm a god-believing woman I am an American believing woman man do what you got to do let's stop this guy or guys or women whatever the pieces of s*** are

Oct.3, 2020 I received a request to friend Eric T. Hill on Facebook then we started talking on Hangout. On Oct. 12. He wanted me to pay for his personal good to be sent to me. Eric said, Honey I don’t know how much it will cost exactly but I think it should be around $1750, honey you just have to contact the diplomat and he’ll tell you what to do my love.
