I randomly revived a letter in the mail via USPS priority mail. In the envelope I found a letter and a check for $1900. The letter instructed me to deposit the check and use the funds to buy Walmart and eBay gift cards. Then I was to send pictures of the gift cards to the scammers phone number or email.

DO NO DEPOSIT THE CHECK!

The check is fake and will bounce; then you will be on the hook for the money and if you've spent it or bought gift cards your now out $1900 and there's nothing you can do.

received 'check' for $3,450.42 with instruction to purchase 15 WalMart gift cards in $200 increments each and keep the remaining $450 as payment for 'Secret Shopping.' instructions said to take pictures of each gift card, with grey strip scratched off to reveal code needed to redeem cards online and send pictures to scammer email.
