A couple of days later I was told that I would be receiving a check from the company in order to set up a home office and that I was to send money to their trusted vendor to have them send me the office supplies I would need to start up my home office and start my work with the company.
I then used the funds sent to me after I deposited them into my checking account to send two Moneygram transfers to Tanisha Wright and a Western Union money transfer to Tanisha Wright totaling over $3000. I was then told to purchase $1600 worth of Apple gift cards in order to have the company purchase Apple hardware and accounting software to help me do my job. After a couple of days the supposed company sent me another check this time for $1,950. After I received this I got suspicious of the activity going on and went to my local Chase Bank to see what was going on. At this time Chase had sent me a fraudulent activity notice and I had my Chase branch manager return the checks I was given.
Since I had already used the money from the previous check Chase had pulled money out of my checking account and left me with a negative balance of more than $4500. At this point I knew I had to report everything that had gone to help my self try and recover some of those funds. I also never received the materials I was promised by the supposed company and never got the job I was promised.
