Type of a scam Employment
I was approached via text directly asking for me by my first and last name. They offered me a job doing data entry for Cytodel Inc. Before accepting, I checked out the company online and saw several articles and lots of professional presence, so I accepted the job. They sent me a check for purchasing a home office in the amount of $3880. I waited for the check to show in my account as fully cleared and proceeded to follow my new 'employer's directions. I sent $1500 to one individual, $500 twice to another, and then was instructed to purchase $1000 in Apple Gift cards. The next morning when I woke up the scammer attempted to have me get the last 380 out of the account and into CashApp when I discovered that their check had been returned (due to the account being closed).

Money sent to:
$1500 via PayPal -- [email protected] "Marcy's Sweet Smelling Sensations"(Was told she was a software vendor)
$1000 via Google Pay -- [email protected] "Christine" 1******9368 (Two transactions of $500 each)
$1000 in Apple Gift Cards -- Purchased and sent the card numbers to Campbell ****** via Wire. I never gave them the activation codes, nor activated them myself.
The check was sent via FedEx from:
Andre ****** ***** **** *** ** ******* ** ***** United States US
The check itself had the following name and address:
Paul * ****** **** ********* ***** *** ***** ****** ** ********** ***** ***** ** ***** ************ ** US Bank
I have complete records of all communications via text, email and Wire Messenger.
