I was contacted through facebook messenger by a woman telling me that she worked for Facebook Annual Compensation Lottery program and "I was asked to contact you by facebook organization. They asked me to pass to you some good news. The online Facebook Lori draws was conduced by a random selection of emails you were picked by an advanced automated random computer search from facebook Topsweeps organization in other to claim your $20,000usd and a brand new Foosball table. Your name was selected in a raffle that was made for the Facebook promo for he year 2020 with lucky number(56809) so we need your fast response so that we can proceed with the claim process of your winnings. I have the certificate of your wining money here. You have to be honest with me so you can receive your package. Your REF NUMBER MUST BE KEPT SAFE AND CONFIDENTIAL "JH29740268" MAKE SURE YOU DO. Aims requirements: to claim you will need to fill this form to avoid double claims so that we can locate you when bringing you money." The form asked for my full name which I did provide, my my address, age, e-mail, gender, mother's full name, place of work, marital status, phone network carrier, and my phone number which I provided. It also asked for my monthly income which I did not provide. The next message stated "we guarantee you 100% that your information is safe with us. Answer the questions alone and send the correct answers to me on here right now." After I provided the information the next message stated "Congratulation once again, your details has been forwarded to our delivery department. You need to take a Full pics of you and send it to us here so we can attach it to your winning document because its needed to be attach to your WINNING Assistance Package." I provided the picture. Then they asked which delivery service I preferred. Then they told me that they contacted the delivery agent for Fedex and they were asking me to pay $400 for a delivery fee and pay by money gram. I told them I would not pay, they asked how much I could pay and I told them $50 with a prepaid Visa card in the mail. They asked me to pay $50 to Steam wallet or Ebay. They kept asking when I could pay and giving me instructions. They messaged me the next day asking when I would pay. So then I told them I wanted proof of who they are. They did not provide this and I stopped messaging them and told them I would report them to the Better Business Bureau.

The messages I quoted in this report include the grammatical errors of the actual messages. The profile name was Margaret Ann Kennedy and her photo was of a white elderly lady with short white hair and glasses.
