I was looking to purchase a Newfoundland puppy and came across Mark and Rita Newfie's website with puppies for adoption. After corresponding with Mark via text and email and completing the adoption questionnaire, we signed an adoption contract and agreed that Mark would arrange for the flight transportation of the puppy after I paid a for bruno $845. I paid the deposit via Zelle and then Mark responded that he would figure out the flight tomorrow. Next day comes to receive the puppy waiting at the airport text him he says he’s dropping off at the shipper now shipper Company is supposedly SF express shipping. They they sent me an email as a confirmation asking if this is information is correct you know then they sent me another email saying that they’re gonna have to charge me so much roughly $900 as a crate fee because of inclement weather in my area BS it’s summer No rain and they said that it would be refundable 95% refundable BS looked up the company it was an international shipping company text Mark saying they’re trying to get $1000 out of me just go pick the puppy up and use citizen shipping which is a US company versus an international company. He is like just tell them you want the cheapest crate told him the cheapest was $900. Told him to just pick the puppy up and And allow me to use Citizen shipping or just give me my money back never got a refund or the dog.
