Type of a scam Employment
When I went back to look for the note on LinkedIn, it was gone. They compromise other people's accounts and send these notes.
They have my name and address. They sent me a check for $1877.00 which I did not deposit.
Here are the directions they send:
Greetings,
Confirm receiving payment in the mail. Proceed as stated in the assignment and email us your report once completed. We look forward to receive it to enable us file your report as soon as possible.
The evaluation can be done at any nearby Walmart, Walgreens, Target, CVS, 7-Eleven, Rite Aid, Kmart, A&P, Office Depot, Staples, Safeway, Dollar General, Winn Dixie and many other stores where the cards are sold. Proceed to make the purchase and in the process evaluate the store's customer service delivery and condition/arrangement of the cards in the store.
After Purchase of Cards:
(Walmart Visa Gift Cards, American Express Gift Cards)
Open the pack, remove the label in front of the cards and capture clear image of front and back of each card and email to us along with Page 3 of this document. (Phone camera is also accepted).
(Target Gift Cards, Nordstrom Gift Cards) - Scratch open the back to reveal code and capture clear image of back of each card.
