Scammer offered to build a web site to earn passive income plus one year mentorship and instruction packet. I never got any of it. I was contacted over a year later saying I had earned over $3600. But it could not be released until I paid the $384 of past due maintenance fees. They said they couldn’t take the fees out of the earnings.

I invested in a marketing plan for a website that I had paid for previously. I was promised bi-monthly commission checks beginning 12/15/2022. I have received nothing and their phone number is no longer in service.

A company called Growth Cave was running Google Ads promoting passive income. I got sucked in.

The salesperson PROMISED "done for you" and the fact that I was horribly technically challenged would not matter at all.

They would "hold my hand" and do the steps for me. He also said the coaches would get back within an hour or two. HAHAHA

Days or weeks maybe, NEVER an hour or two. I was promised I could be up and running and earning income in two weeks. HAHAHA

I took out financing for their fee of $6800.

I spent two months of my life doing EVERYTHING I was told which probably took me THREE times the time any "kid" could do these things. Then they changed the course, then then added another thing to suck even MORE money out of us (instead of using all the apps they originally said to use, now we should use THEIR "new" app which would take the place of all the other apps) at an additional cost of $150/ month. Whatever.

They stopped using FaceBook (where the members of their private group could message each other) and on their "new" app the members weren't allowed to message each other (so they couldn't compare notes...?) Well I kept seeing unhappy members posting about their miserable experience and then the posts were gone shortly thereafter. I do have a couple of people that can verify what I say is true. I asked the coaches point blank if they censored the posts, they said they didn’t which is a big fat lie.

Then I got a threatening email from the founder:

Subject: Regarding Your Behavior In Our Client Community.

We received a complaint from a client of ours who received unsolicited call from you complaining about our support system, mentioning that the call felt inappropriate and uncomfortable for them.

This is unacceptable as it is inappropriate as well as illegal, going against the guidelines in the contract you signed when starting with us.

This will be out first and only warning regarding this behavior.

Our coaches are more than willing to help you through this process, but if you continue this we will be forced to remove you from the program and contact our lawyers.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding this matter, otherwise I am looking forward to seeing your continued progress in the course and building out your program.

To which I replied:

Aloha,

All I can do is apologize and say that I did call someone from the partnerships & services section to discuss how we could collaborate.

So if that is what is called “unsolicited” I thought that was what we were supposed to do. And I think I might have asked if they were getting the support promised…. since I was seeing a lot of “complaints”, if you will, regarding this issue (lack of support) and I chalked it up to you guys taking on too much…then the comments were gone. I asked in a message if you censored people and was assured you did not.

I must say though that Mason and Bonny were both excellent at getting back eventually

and Bonny’s skill regarding the verbiage is unbelievable. Grateful for her comments and guidance.

I was still willing to try and keep on because of them.

And Mason kept apologizing and thanking me for my patience. I’m sure you could see that in the messages.

When I signed up with Jai I asked him specifically if a person who was seriously technically challenged could do this.

He assured me that yes I could. It is apparent that my brain is unable.

I asked if you would be willing to give me a refund and never got an answer… would you?

I’m tired of being in tears every day trying to deal with the technology that is needed. As Ozzie said it takes you minutes to do what it would take him (and me!) HOURS.

And then you had a “done for you” deal you wanted to present which sounded wonderful because I have two other courses I wanted to “try” to do.

An appointment was made Tues or Wed and then cancelled – with no warning or reason… couldn’t get any answer from anyone about this why it was cancelled. And this was before the “unsolicited” call (which was today.)

You obviously booted me off the app anyway so perhaps you want me gone…”anyway”? Would you be willing to refund my money?

Lucas you don’t have to threaten me with lawyers. I get that you are a millionaire. And I’m just a peon trying to improve my circumstances.

I think we need to be kind to one another and treat others as we want to be treated. I try to live aloha (LOVE) and hope you do and will as well.

When we stand in front of our maker, I’m positive we will not be asked:

“sooooo how much money did you make while you were down there?”

but rather:

“how much good did you do?”

Thanks for your consideration

In conclusion and to summarize:

I signed up and was promised a slew of things (my brother heard all and is my witness) and they delivered nothing but confusion and horrible customer service and then apologies for their poor service. And boasts of how Lucas the owner is a millionaire. He may be a millionaire, but he has NO CLUE how to run a company.

Beware of the reviews on any site saying anything positive about this company because I have it on good authority that they are FAKE from people in the company using different emails/names/whatever.

Shame on me for getting scammed. I'm embarrassed as I am usually very good about vetting a company before I give them a HUGE chunk of my money ($6800)!!! And then they wanted more more more.

Live and learn…

I made a dispute with my credit card company so hopefully those funds to Growth Cave will not be lost BUT there were other funds paid to assist with their course to a person who had technical knowledge so she could help me $860, google ads they told me to run apx $120 and a video editor for $80.

- Apple Valley, CA, USA

BRAD ENGLE with Marketing services and STEVE DAVIS contacted me regarding advertising for my Insurance Business, fortunately I did more research online and found out that he was a scammer, and that the magazines he said I would be in that were in the High desert (VONS, ALBERTSON'S), did not exist. This took place in APPLE VALLEY CALIFORNIA. He said he was from Palm Desert and that I would be featured in magazines and charged every 2-3 months a fee and that I would be exclusive to his magazine. I cancelled the credit card and I did not lose any money, but beware of BRAD ENGLE with marketing services!!!!
