I received no peep about the YETI Bag, the survey I completed, not even a receipt for the charges in my account.
A week or so later you get an Amazon package w/ no slip inside letting you know who it’s from and other relevant info. In the package was a flashlight. On the package itself there’s a USPS Tracking # + TN Customer Support # 877-934-9418.
I called this number… Only identified themselves as customer support and told them I wanted to return the flashlight that I didn’t order and asked how I can do that since there’s no slip in the package that would have the info to return it back to sender.
Customer support says I cannot return the item.
She added it’s part of what participants get upon completion of the survey to get the YETI Bag.
I asked about the charges on my account since it’s supposed to be ONLY $1.
She mentioned the $9.95 was for the flashlight.
FYI… There was no mention of the flashlight on the survey or the site. They just bill you for it and it’s a non refundable charge on your account!
And the rest? The $39.95 charge? She didn’t say. She did say she could give me a refund of $30.00 and ensure I don’t receive anymore of their products. Huh? Was this a subscription?
In short, it was a misleading advertisement to scam you of your money.
Additional info: I have not received the $30 refund mentioned or any communication from this company. I reported the scam to my bank. They are investigating the $39.95 + $9.95 charges on my account.
